We will be using the Handwriting Without Tears (HWT) writing in our kindergarten classroom. We will first be introduced to "Mat Man," he will help us identify curved or straight handwriting pieces. We will then work with mats and pieces to create different letters, use chalkboards to help us write the letters and finally we will move to the Handwriting Without Tears paper. Students will have both a handwriting book and journal they will use throughout the year.
