Reading

We will be using the Houghton Mifflin reading series throughout the year.  Your child will be introduced to each letter of the alphabet using different "alphafriends."  (Animal/letter people)  The alphafriends are used to help reinforce each letter, the sound it makes and how to write it.  Not only will your child be introduced to each letter using this reading series, but they will also begin to learn a variety of sight words.
